MaxIQ: Reimagining Enterprise Sales Execution with AI

As a former enterprise sales leader, I managed globally distributed teams spanning regions, districts, and countries—and lived the challenge of trying to consistently commit to an accurate quarterly number, often with limited direct engagement or visibility across hundreds of deals. Sales forecasting has always been as much art as science because, behind every sales playbook and management process, there’s still a multitude of incorrect information, tribal knowledge, and tremendous variability in execution.
CRM data is often incomplete and inconsistent, making it difficult to separate the deals that are ‘real’ from the ones that are hopeful projections. Trust in the data, team capabilities, and ability to execute varies widely—introducing hidden risks that make accurate forecasting incredibly intricate. The result? Sales leaders are left relying on instinct, pipeline coverage ratios, and constant deal reviews, all while knowing there are blind spots that could make or break the quarter.
The reality? Critical deal signals—customer engagement levels, executive buy-in, competitive pressure, and internal blockers—rarely make it into a CRM. Sales leaders are left making judgment calls on pipeline with blind spots that can lead to missed forecasts, over-inflated pipelines, and misallocated resources.
MaxIQ
That’s why I’m excited to announce our investment in MaxIQ, an AI-native platform that is reinventing sales forecasting and customer journey management by capturing the unstructured deal intelligence that actually helps determine which opportunities will close, and how to prioritize and fix the remaining gaps.
It synthesizes these fragmented signals that sit outside of a CRM into a real-time, contextualized view of opportunity health, allowing leaders to commit to numbers with more confidence and prioritize efforts in the right places.
The Team
Founded by Sonny Aulakh and led by CEO Matt Hickey and CRO Rob Sexton, MaxIQ is built by a leadership team that has already scaled multiple category-defining technologies, including Data Domain, XtremIO, and CloudGenix. They know the playbook for navigating enterprise markets, and this time, they’re tackling one of the biggest unsolved challenges in sales execution.
Why Customers Are Excited
Enterprise sales teams today are drowning in manual tasks, fragmented tools, and inefficient workflows—which is why the rise of AI agents and agentic workflows is generating so much market buzz. MaxIQ is leading this wave, automating key sales rep, leadership, and operations workflows to eliminate administrative burden and enhance real-time decision-making.
Early adopters—including some of the biggest names in tech—are seeing immediate value. Customers have highlighted three key differentiators:
- Agentic AI for Sales Execution – Automates data capture and workflow execution so sales teams can focus on selling
- Predictive Forecasting with Real Engagement Data – Measures actual customer buy-in, not just CRM inputs
- Cross-Team Collaboration Without Additional Costs – Ensures Sales, CS, and Product teams work from the same insights
The Future of Sales Execution
MaxIQ isn’t just another sales tool—it’s an AI-native intelligence layer that automates and augments decision-making across go-to-market teams. By unlocking deal insights that never made it into a CRM before, it’s helping companies forecast more accurately, prioritize resources more effectively, and drive revenue growth more predictably.
We’re thrilled to partner with Sonny, Matt, Rob, and the MaxIQ team as they pioneer this new category. More to come!
