Nina Lu

Nina invests in early-stage technology companies in AI, data infrastructure, and enterprise software. She is particularly excited about meeting founders focused on highly regulated industries including healthcare, legal, and financial services.

Before joining DTC, Nina was a growth investor at BDT&MSD where she was on the founding team of a dedicated growth fund anchored by Michael Dell and evaluated opportunities in AI/ML, devops, and health tech. Prior to that, Nina was founder of a YCombinator-backed startup and a product manager at PillPack, a healthtech startup that was acquired by Amazon and became the backbone of Amazon Pharmacy. She started off her career in technology investing at TPG Capital and Kleiner Perkins’ Digital Growth Fund.

Nina has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated summa cum laude with two bachelor’s degrees (Computer Science and Finance) from University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School of Business through the Jerome Fisher Management & Technology Program. Nina has been coding since middle school, was an organizer of PennApps Hackathon – one of the largest collegiate hackathons in the US – and has two apps in the Apple App Store. Outside of the office, she enjoys armchair philosophy, baking, paddleboarding, and learning about the latest GenZ trends from her younger siblings.
